| On Thursday 25th March, 2004 I lost my beloved Eugene. He was the most gentle of souls, he loved his food and his girls. And usually in that order, but sometimes not. He could have everyone running to his beck and call and those whom had met him can testify that he would let you know if something wasn't the way he liked it. He went quickly and I hope painlessly and I am still stung by the shock. But in true Eugene tradition he managed to get his last meal in, before he went quickly to the other side. Born 19/12/92 Died 25/3/04 Eugene also made his mark in the show ring Best of Breed - Melbourne Royal Show 1994 Numerous Best in Group and classes in Group and Best in Show and Classes in Show Awards Winner of the only 3 CACIB's ever offered in Australia (2 under pug specialists) Dog CC & RuBOB - New Zealand Pal National - (Judge Mr. M. Quinney - Adoram Pugs) And then his progeny - He sired numerous champions, 4 grand champions and multiple champions and he only had a few lady visitors - But I am sure that he has left a positive mark on the breed.
